ITL in association with TIBA (Tanzania Insurance Broker Association) conducted a Training session for IFM students who are undergoing the graduate program in Insurance & Risk Management. The training session was to equip these students with practical training of Insurance best practices using technology. The students were asked to bring the laptops so that it would be a hands-on training.

TIBA representative Mr. Claude Mukanganwa opened up the training session and expressed the students to take advantage of practical best practices in the insurance industry. Further to educate the students on how to prepare themselves for job after their academics, Council Member Claude provided fruitful & vital information on CV preparations and preparing for job interviews.

Further to the same Council Member Claude Invited ITL Chief Operating Officer Mr. Tanveer to share the podium to illuminate students with Insurance best practices using technology.

Mr. Tanveer provided an informative session to the students touching every aspect of insurance operations right from underwriting, insurance accounts & claims using Smart Policy System.

The students were given the credentials to access the demo application of Smart Policy, whereby students got the opportunity issue vehicle cover notes and various other documents that are required to serve the customer using the system.

Students were happy for the fact that they were using the live system that is been used in the insurance market.

After the hands-on session with Smart Policy system, Mr. Tanveer provided a very inspiring session on Personal Development which was also the need of the hour for the students.

Students enjoyed every bit of the training session whereby they decided to skip the tea break in order get more time to learn more.
